Registration Options:

There are many ways to enjoy Emerald City Blues Festival. With three nights of dancing and two days of workshops, pick the package that best suits you. All packages include discounted rates for pre-ordering online!

All Access Pass

This is your ticket to the whole weekend event. This includes two days of workshops with internationally renowned instructors, three nights of dancing with live musicians and DJs, late night food, and viewing the competition finals. All of this packaged together gets you a big discount off of door prices.

Dance Only

This package gets you into all the social dancing for the weekend, which includes 3 nights of live musicians and DJs, including the Washington Hall with Brother Yusef, late night food, and viewing of the competition finals. Bundling this package gets you a considerable discount over door prices for each evening.

Workshop Only

This package includes all the workshop classes of both Saturday and Sunday. This will be 8 class periods, or 10 hours of intensive study. Choose this package if you can't make it to the evening dances or if you just want to focus your time with learning from our amazing instructors.

Friday Dance Pass

This pass is for the Friday night social dance, from 8pm until 3:30am. This includes two rooms of dancing at the Fremont Abbey, live music with Joshua Fialkoff, late night food, and the Strictly Blues competition finals.

Saturday Day Pass

This pass includes everything happening on Saturday, including an entire day of workshops, Saturday evening event with Brother Yusef at Washington Hall, and Saturday late night dancing at Om Culture until 4am. Late night admission includes late night food buffet. There will be no competitions held on Saturday.

Sunday Day Pass

This pass includes everything happening on Sunday, including an entire day of workshops and Sunday night dancing at Greenlake Great Hall. The evening dance goes from 8pm until 4am and includes live music with Brett Benton, late night food buffet, and final competitions for Mix & Match and Solo Blues.

Volunteer Opportunities

Do you:

  • Want to be part of the Emerald City Blues Festival team?
  • Want to attend ECBF, but would appreciate financial aid?
  • Want to be connected to a group of like-minded individuals during your time in Seattle?

If you answered YES to any of the above, you might want to consider VOLUNTEERING!
ECBF's volunteer system involves upfront payment of the full price of the ticket of your choice. After the event ends, you will be refunded a certain amount depending on the number of hours you worked.
The standard refund amount is $15/hour for each volunteer, with special rates for lead volunteers. Refunds are set to be sent out within a week following the festival.

Scholarships

If you are financially unable to afford purchasing a ticket at this time, you can apply for a scholarship. To apply for the scholarship, please send a one-two page document to scholarships@burnblue.org. The document needs to contain the following information:

  1. Your name, age, and city of origin.
  2. Your dance history: how long you’ve been dancing, why you like dancing, why you like blues. We would like to understand your passion for this dance.
  3. Your financial hardship. We would like to help you afford the event and to do this we need to understand your current need.
We cannot guarantee all applicants will receive a scholarship. Applications will be reviewed by ECBF directors. Applicants will be kept confidential. We encourage all scholarship recipients to participate in marketing the event.
